Juliet - The Book

András Visky's play Juliet is being performed in August as part of the 2007 New York International Fringe Festival, www.fringenyc.org. For details, click here. To celebrate the event, an English edition of the Juliet text is being published. The book is being edited and designed in Romania, but will be published under the name of Theatre Y, a U.S. non-profit which exists to bring together an international community of theatre artists to explore tensions of faith and human experience.

The book will be a hard softcover, 14cm x 20cm, and approximately 120 pages long. In addition to the newly edited play text, it will also include a preface by director Chris Markle, an essay giving some historical background by Romanian author Ruxandra Cesereanu
